Established in 2010. We are currently a self funded group, aiming both to raise the profile of art in the community and sell our work. We are completely reliant on volunteers but have already made a mark on the visual arts scene in Kingston. Malden Arts Association
The Malden Arts Association is a club for anyone with an interest in art, including practicing painters, sculptors, potters and poets as well as anyone interested in art history, or discussing art with like-minded people. Everyone is welcome from accomplished artists to those just dipping their toe in the water. We do not have group painting at our meetings, although we occasionally have workshop evenings where members can try out subjects, techniques or materials that they might not have normally considered.
We meet once a month at The Malden Centre, Cocks Crescent, Blagdon Road, New Malden, on a Friday afternoon from 4pm to 6.30pm and have a varied programme of demonstrations by professional Artists and illustrated talks on the arts. Our meetings are held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and we hope that you will decide to join us.
