The cornerHouse - oneACTS 2009 - playwrights and directors wanted
There is less than a month to go before the closing date for play submissions for the 2009 oneActs festival. So, if you have written a script, or would like to write one, get it to the cornerHouse soon.

Every script will be judged anonymously, so each one stands an equal chance. And every writer will receive feedback, irrespective of whether their play is selected.

The festival, which this year takes place on November 9-14, is a showcase of original writing. It has become a respected fixture in the local arts calendar. Plays need to be between 15-30 minutes long and submitted by Sunday, July 19. We're also keen to hear from anyone who would like to direct one of the plays this year, or to get involved in any capacity. Whatever your interest, let the cornerHouse know. They are looking forward to hearing from you!

Kingston Arts Council is the umbrella organisation for arts societies within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of artistic activities, supporting numerous affiliated organisations and individuals, and organising various arts festivals.
