Arts Salon 2008
Kingston Arts Council's second Arts Salon recently took place in June in the intimate setting of the Ram Jam Club, Kingston. Following on from the successful Salon last year in Dorich House, this event provided another chance for arts practitioners to meet and share creative ideas with others working in all aspects of music, drama and the arts in Kingston. In the presence of the new Deputy Mayor of Kingston, the event was jointly hosted by MeWe, the acclaimed local youth arts company, and Beyonder, one of the UK’s leading performance artists. The guest speaker was the Rose Theatre’s Artistic Director Stephen Unwin.
For those who were able to attend, a big thank you for joining us at this event and for helping us to promote the arts at the heart of Kingston life.
