CornerHouse Community Arts Centre
The CornerHouse is a community arts center, run by volunteers in premises provided by the local parish. The center has a 120-seat main auditorium and a 40-seat studio space. It also has a licensed bar, foyer exhibition area and technical facilities. The facilities are used extensively by local groups and are available to hire for performances and other uses.

Green Theatre Company
The Green Theatre Company is open primarily to 14 to 25 year olds and run on a purely voluntary basis. The aim of the GTC is to allow young people in the borough to take part in producing high quality theatre productions, which can be enjoyed by people from across the borough. Also, as the management committee is made up of the membership, our members can get involved in all aspects of running the theatre, from helping to choose the plays we perform, to helping raise funds, to repairing the theatre itself. Please feel free to come along to our any of our shows. We are always looking for new actors, techies, directors and anyone interested in drama. Kingston upon Thames Festival of the Performing Arts
The organization of a competitive festival for stage dancing, pianoforte, instrumental, vocal and speech and drama. Competitions are held in November, December and a Kingston Young Musicians competition in January (sponsored by Kingston University) from selected winners of the music and vocal sections. Professional adjudicators judge each section and certificates are awarded together with report forms. Medals for winners and runners up.

Kingston Vale Operatic & Dramatic Society (KVODS)
KVODS is a friendly amateur society that performs two major musicals a year. We rehearse on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8.00pm to 10.00pm. We also have a youth group starting shortly which will rehearse at the Village Hall, Kingston Vale from 6.30pm to 8.00pm on Wednesdays. The Village Hall is our normal rehearsal venue, from which we also perform our shows.

Spring Grove Morris Men / Off-Spring Morris. Spring Grove Morris Men is a men-only group that performs traditional English Cotswold Morris dances. Off-Spring Morris is a group for both men and women. Surbiton and District Caledonian Society
Surbiton and District Caledonian Society organises and promotes Scottish Country Dancing on Thursday evenings from September to June, 8.00pm to 10.30pm, at St Mark's Church Hall, Church Hill Road, Surbiton. Annual membership costs £5.00 and members pay £2.00 per evening. Non-Members pay £3.00 per evening. An evening's programme consists of twelve dances, a cup of tea and biscuits! The Club is very friendly, informal and newcomers are made especially welcome.

A local community theatre company, with both amateur and professional actors, directors and technicians, which puts on a range of productions at local venues such as the Arthur Cotterril theatre, Kingston College. Youth Action Theatre (YAT)
YAT provides an opportunity for any young person aged between 16 and 25 to acquire or enhance their acting and theatrical skills by participation in workshops and productions. Meetings take place two to three evenings a week, rehearsing at Collis School, Fairfax Road, Teddington. YAT puts on 3 to 4 productions a year and membership is free!

Heritage and the Environment
Kingston upon Thames Society
The Kingston upon Thames Society exists to promote high standards of planning, conservation and design in the Royal Borough. It seeks to inform people of Kingston about major planning issues affecting our town. The Society provides a forum through which the people of Kingston can play a part in ensuring that our heritage of historic buildings is preserved, and that the style and scale of new developments are in harmony with the existing townscape.
Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held in the Judge Lecture Theatre, Tiffin School, Kingston. Meetings begin at 7.30pm. Access is from the London Road entrance where there is ample free parking. Membership costs only £5.00 per year or £4.00 each for two or more members in the same household. Corporate Membership is £20.00 per year.

Surbiton & District Birdwatching Society
The Society promotes the study and protection of wild birds by means of meetings, informative talks, information exchange, field outings and surveys. Indoor meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month, except August, 7.45 for 8pm at Surbiton Library Hall, Ewell Road, Surbiton. Over 30 field outings are held throughout the year and vary from local morning events to weekends away. Kingston Choral Society
Under Music Director Robin Page, KCS perform four concerts a year (Nov/Dec/March/June), of which two are with a professional orchestra. Rehearsals are held every Thursday during term-time from 7.45 to 10.00pm at Hollyfield School in Surbiton. New members are always welcome. There is a simple audition and the annual subscription is £115.00.

Kingston Orpheus Choir

A full symphony youth orchestra with children (age 10-18) based in south-west London. Surbiton Arts Group
The group holds two meetings every month (1st and 3rd weeks) except in July, for lectures on subjects of artistic interest. The group also holds workshops at which members enjoy painting. Screenings form the best of World Cinema including Classic, Foreign and Silent films. Meetings take place at Surbiton Library Lecture Hall, Ewell Road, Surbiton. Screenings are at 7.30pm. Thames Valley Arts Club
The Club organises a series of lively monthly lectures during the Autumn and Spring, held at the Vera Fletcher Hall in Thames Ditton. These include demonstrations by professional artists. The programme also includes two day workshops for members. The Club also holds two exhibitions each year in a variety of locations (Only Full members can submit work for hanging). The Parish of St Andrew and St Mark, Surbiton
The Parish plays host to a wide variety of artistic events in its two churches, with excellent acoustics in both. Both churches house excellent three-manual organs (Hunter and Mander) with a moveable Baroque-style chamber organ and two grand pianos.

This beautiful church is warm and comfortable (carpeted and padded seats throughout) and is used for a variety of concerts throughout the year. It is a venue for many community groups and schools and has good acoustics.
